Automation and Systems Research Institute (ASRI) was established in 1988 to improve domestic automation and systems technology to an international level and to perform a leading role in research among the related departments in universities in Korea and among industries in related fields.
ASRI has been selected numerous times as one of the top institutes in the evaluation of research institutions at Seoul National University since 1994, and more than 30 venture companies founded from this institute have been contributing to advance the nation’s technologies and job creation in many fields.
The 18 professors who are participating in our research institute are leading several applied fields based on the latest technology of automation and system—control, robot, intellect, bio and etc. Also, we are academically and technologically expanding through convergence synergy effects. Nonetheless we’ve never satisfied with these achievements, and we are making long-term plans for developing technologies required by the next generation.
We are also going to be focusing on research contributing more to the country and society, and to develop the next generation of technology to lead the future growth power.
Thank you for your interest and encouragement.
